Researchers from the Human Centered Robotics Group at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom have developed a robot carp fish that uses artificial intelligence, sensors to avoid obstacles and adapt to the changing environment. The researchers want to eventually use the robotic fish for seabed exploration and inspection of underwater structures, cables and pipes.
